What To Do When Your PAX Feels

Given that there’s an oven inside of PAX vaporizers, it’s completely normal for the outer shell of the device to feel warm during use. Our quick guide will explain why your PAX vaporizer may feel "hot," and provide some easy tips to help address it.

Reasons why your PAX may feel "hot"

The below reasons can help explain why your device feels "hot":

  • PAX vaporizers operate at temperatures hot enough to create vapor, so it is normal for it to feel warmer to the touch than other consumer electronics. That proves that it's working.
  • It's important to note that if a PAX is left standing alone, especially while heating up, it will feel "hot" at first touch. As soon as you gently wrap your hand around it, the heat should dissipate into your skin.

Tips to keep your PAX feeling "cooler"

Here’s a few tips to help keep your PAX experience is "cool":

  • The oven area, located at the bottom of the PAX vaporizer, will be warmer than the top of the device, so we recommend holding the device towards the top when in use.
  • Lower temperature settings are not only good for preserving the flavors and aromas of dry herb, they also keep the device external temperature lower. Try it out during your next session.
